Another one

Okay folks

I hate sending out two emails in a row....BUT.....I had the coolest experience today. I was walking back to my dorm room when I saw a couple of guys sitting on the grass in front of my dorm complex. One had a guitar and one had a banjo. Well, you know what that meant - time for me to pull out the old squeezebox. We had a pretty nice little jam session out on the lawn. I taught my friends an old Irish ditty I knew and we also played some Beatles tunes. A great first step to making some new friends. I think some of the guys in my dorm building saw me and so I will be known as the accordion player for the next two years but that's okay.

I also finally signed up for some classes today. I am taking a swim class, an "Oral Interpretation" class, "Integrating Femininity and Masculinity,"and "Family Relations in Contemporary Society" and an "American Public Discourse."

So that's life up to minute.
