I admit that some things may sound a little contradictory here, this is not a black and white thing, as you well know.

Six things I want to say to every liberal in America.

1. Just because God is mentioned by a public official doesn't mean the 1^st Amendment is under fire.

2. Hello, the free market works

3. The government does not exist to provide unions with more power.
   

4. I want to view people as people, regardless of the color of their skin color, sexual orientation, religion, gender, etc. You want me to look at everyone who is not a Straight Male WASP as a victim of “oppression.”

5. Sometimes, in order to save your butt, you need to kick someone else's butt. That means other countries and that also means the bastard who had just broken into my house

6. We cannot, and should not, solve every problem with federal money

Six things I want to say to every conservative in America.

1. Jesus Christ never has been, and never was intended to be, a branch of the federal government.

2. Environmental damage IS a problem and it's time we dealt with it.

3. As long as I am in the privacy of my own home, and my partner is of legal age, I will screw whom, what, where, when, why, and how I want to. You need to screw off!

4. People don't care about laissez faire economics when their house has just been destroyed by a hurricane/fire/riot/flood.

5. Some things out there are too big and complicated for the private sector or local government to deal with.  And an absence of some of these things potentially means the loss of many lives.
   

6. Public education may not be perfect, but it's kept us going for the past 150 years.
